Milestone Birthday - Celebrating in Song and Enjoying the Memories!

(playing "John Green" to start the Yakima Bigfoot Round-Up, May 2009...
one of the most memorable bigfoot song performances. A time to look back on the songs and a recent bigfoot outing...)

May 28th - my birthday and a special one at that!

Thought I would post some photos from the most memorable performances of the bigfoot songs... and some pictures from last week. Enjoy and thank you, friends, for the birthday wishes!

(Willow Creek International Bigfoot Symposium, September 12, 2003. photo taken by Scott McClean - from the TY archives.)

(the early days - with Monte "BigToe" Bradshaw in the "lost Sierras" near Scales, CA. April 2004)

(playing the street fair at the Bigfoot Rendezvous in Pocatello, Idaho. Brandon Tennant invited me to play a whole set of bigfoot songs... it was a blast on the back of that truck bed. thanks - as always - to Scott for taking the photo!)

(at the first Bigfoot Discovery Day, June 2007 playing "Roger and Bob (Rode Out That Day)" Tom Yamarone photo taken by Scott McClean.)

(playing "Jerry Crew (He Knew What To Do)" at the Patterson-Gimlin Film 40th Anniversary Celebration, October 20, 2007, Willow Creek, California.)

(at the Ohio Bigfoot Conference, May 2010.)

(Playing at the Sasquatch Summit, April 2011.)

Also, here are some photos from last weekend's outing with Terry Smith in the central Sierra Nevada Mountains of California. We were outside of North Fork, CA in the Sierra National Forest along FS Road 81 (the Sierra Scenic Byway). Two nights out near Mammoth Pool Reservoir and Chiquito Creek. Nothing overt or dramatic in the way of possible bigfoot activity but we think this is an excellent area for looking.

(near Bass Lake, California with a plywood bigfoot cutout we saw in someone's yard driving to North Fork. ha! photo by Terry Smith.)

(at the raging waters of Mammoth Pool Reservoir spillway with Terry Smith. See above photo of lake, spillway and dam from 2,000 feet above... this was a destination goal for our Sunday hike. "We made it!")

(marshy meadow at dusk near Lower Chiquito campground.)

(old growth Ponderosa pines in a free range cattle corral along Chiquito Creek.)

(end of the trip photo at North Fork market. We came, we saw...we endured! and we'll be back!)

May your song always be sung,

Long Time No See! Hello to All My Regular Visitors...

Bigfoot songs are running through my mind... but day-to-day living sometimes takes precedence over keeping the blog updated. Now, there have been things to discuss over the last 3 and 1/2 weeks, I just haven't gotten around to posting any of it.

And to all of the regular readers of Bigfootsongs.com, I apologize. I sure hope we
have spoken on the phone in the meantime. If not, send me your number. I'm "old school" when it comes to communicating.

As the big milestone birthday approaches, I'll be more regular with the posts.

Here's an item that Donna H. brought to my attention. Washington State Magazine - the University that was home to Dr. Grover Krantz - has a Summer 2011 edition with cover art that includes a striding bigfoot in the background...

Can you see the bigfoot?

"Oh, there he goes!" THANK YOU, Donna, for sending me this photo!!
