Operation Odyssey II July 20-22, 2007

Operation Odyssey II was a weekend of practicing field techniques...we had workshops on safety, call blasting, utilizing scent and food lures, photographing possible evidence, mapping, interviewing techniques and casting.

This was a cooperative effort by the Alliance of Independent Bigfoot Researchers and BlueNorth.com. A bunch of friends attended and it was a good chance to brush up on some of the things we need to do when out looking for bigfoot evidence.

yeah, and we even had a campfire jam with the bigfoot songs...the kids love singing the chorus to "Skookum Cast" and we had a sing-a-long of "Roger and Bob."
One of the best bigfoot song sessions to date - almost as good as the Sierra Expedition campfire of 2005! :-)

Three More Pics from Las Vegas

I couldn't get these to load with yesterday's post...my 2nd favorite animal on display at the Mirage...the view from the top of the Stratosphere looking up the Strip...

and the slot machine that caught my eye...Betti the Yetti! a one-armed bandit if I ever did see one!

It's Been a Fun Summer...music, sun and squatchin'

I've been putting off the blog for too long...let's see if I can't post a few updates over the next couple of days.

After the big event in Santa Cruz, we started the summer off right with a vacation to Las Vegas...and, man, was it hot! 110 everday we were there...We did enjoy the pool at the Flamingo, the view from the top of the Stratosphere tower, a must-see tour of Hoover Dam, the night-time view from the top of Paris' Eiffel Tower - and the most amazing show I've seen in a LONG TIME - The Beatles "LOVE" at the Mirage by Cirque du Soleil! Wow! the 90 minutes of remastered music by George Martin was fantastic!
yep, that was one great week!

We got out in the hills later in July...that'll be tomorrow's post...
Operation Odyssey II.
