What's New? Hoax Video from North Carolina? No...the Sasquatch Summit!!

Well, I know the media all got on board with the guy in the suit trotting across the road in North Carolina. Ugh! sorry, we could not be distracted.

Everything is looking great for the Sasquatch Summit. If you are reading this for information on the event, scroll down a few posts (or more).

We have a more detailed agenda and a press release. I'll post those now.
Note on the Press Release: It is more to generate an article about the event and John Green - not to draw more people to the event as we are a few people away from capacity at the Tribute Banquet. And only 30 people away from capacity at the conference presentations on Saturday.

GREAT RESPONSE!!
WE WANT TO THANK ALL THOSE WHO HAVE SUPPORTED THIS TRIBUTE TO JOHN GREEN!

Striving Toward "The Summit" - Surprises Galore In Store

(Sybilla Irwin's bigfoot art - she's been creating witness directed images for the BFRO. A little bird told me she's working some magic for the Sasquatch Summit as well...)

Well, I haven't posted in quite a while - and that's a good thing! It means that the planning and preparation for the Sasquatch Summit - a Tribute to John Green is in high gear!

We've been working feverishly on the graphics and have finalized our event t-shirt order with FALLING ROCK PRODUCTIONS in Pocatello, Idaho. Those should be amazing!

The Tribute Poster was finalized this week as well. We've added the names we've been talking about (Al Hodgson, Igor Burtsev & Loren Coleman) and also placed some of the tribute presenters on the poster, too. (John Kirk, David Hancock & Bill Miller)
And we're keeping our fingers crossed for good flying weather on April 8th and 9th so Ron Morehead will be able to attend.

(Scott McClean with his "Patty" wall banner - that will be on display at the Summit. He's been working his magic on all of the Tribute projects. We'll see him in Harrison Hot Springs in 3 weeks.)

Also during the last two weeks, we've been writing and formatting a commemorative program for the Tribute to John Green. It will include a short biography with photos of John, the schedule of events, short, written testimonials from the bigfoot community and a map of sasquatch encounters in the Harrison Lake area. It is really looking GREAT! We are taking donations to help defray the cost of producing this event and recognizing those donors on the back of the program. Their (and your) generosity is very much appreciated and needed at this time. Be a part of history and get in touch with me by tomorrow night. (tyamarone@pacbell.net)

(The Sts'ailes - or Chehalis - Band's sasquatch logo. They will now be a part of the Sasquatch Summit. Image copyright and courtesy of the Sts'ailes Band.)

We have just finalized an agreement with the local First Nations band - the Sts'ailes (or Chehalis) and are very excited to announce they will be a part of the Sasquatch Summit. A drum & dance troupe from the Sts'ailes will be there on Saturday prior to the Tribute Banquet to perform a welcome dance and several other traditional dances! This is a GREAT addition to our program. The band will also be present in the vendors area with their Sasquatch logo apparrel and demonstrations of cedar bark weaving. Their unique Sasquatch drums will also be on disply and for sale at the event. Wow!

Also, an Athabaskan "dene" attending from Eastern Canada will be honoring us with a traditional indigenous smudging on Friday evening. We are excited to have him offer to perform this sage and sweatgrass cleansing ceremony! It really rounds out the event in many ways to have First Nations (Native) people be a part of this Tribute to John Green!

And finally, Henry May has been working his YouTube slideshow magic over the past months and come up with a couple of real great ones lately.

March Madness - Getting the Sasquatch Summit in order!!

Hello Friends...
Bigfoot songs? Yes, there is some good news in that arena.

Mary-Anne McTrowe, the ukulele weilding songstress from Alberta, Canada will be in attendance at the Sasquatch Summit!!

That guarantees we'll have musical moments along with John Kirk, Paul Graves and other attendees. Don't know if it'll be a campfire in nearby Sasquatch Provincial Park, the RV campground across the footbridge from the Hot Springs Resort or in the lobby bar... but it WILL HAPPEN!

Enjoy Mary-Anne's original take on the P-G Film subject...
She was the surprise treat of the P-G Film 40th Anniversary Film Celebration in Willow Creek in 2007.

Here's the latest on the Sasquatch Summit:
