Bluff Creek in October - Harrison Hot Springs, B.C. in November
just wanted to share some photos with you. We had an exciting (yet uneventful) trip to the Bluff Creek area in October. Scott McClean and I met up with Terry Smith, Stephanie Siegert, Bart Cutino and Robert Leiterman -- and took over Louse Camp during the very cold weekend of Oct 10th.
We surveyed the area which had been closed since mid-August due to a fire in the Siskiyou Wilderness. (photos: [above] View east over Louse Camp; Onion Lake)
We also met some new bigfooting friends from Redding - Brian H. and Kenny.
Here is a photo of a new mural being painted by artist Duane Flatmo. It's in Willow Creek along Hwy 299 on the new Ace hardware store.
In November, James "Bobo" Fay and I traveled to Yakima, WA where we met up with Bob Gimlin and Paul Graves. We then made our way to Harrison Hot Springs, British Columbia for a Saturday visit with John Green and his wife, June. It was the second time I had been to his home and both occasions were very memorable. John Green has been documenting, investigating and searching for evidence for over 50 years. He is a treasure trove of anecdotes, evidence, data and experiences...I left there thinking, "I learn something each time I speak with him or read one of his books."
We spent some time in Sasquatch Provincial Park before heading back home.
And no trip to Harrison Hot Springs is complete without a stop at the bigfoot campground statue...look out, Bobo!
On the way home, Bobo and I "chanced upon" the Maryhill (WA) Museum! WOW! I remembered it had an ancient native carved stone head - with a simian resemblance.
Here it is!
We also were treated to some nice weather and spectacular vistas...
Enjoy your holidays! Happy Thanksgiving!
Right now, there are plans being made for a bigfoot event in Yakima, WA next May.
stop by next week and see if the details are posted. This should an amazing gathering of researchers and interested individuals.
And, as always, click on any photo for a larger version! see you!
