The Bigfoot Discovery Museum
in Felton, California is our "neighborhood" bigfoot center...the place I go for books, information, souvenirs and social interaction. Have you been there? I hope you get the chance to stop by sometime...or join us for a monthly meeting...or sign up as a member and receive the monthly newsletter (not to mention 15% off anything you purchase there as well!)
What will you find in the magic little museum?
There's a wonderful, wall-sized enlargement of frame 352 from the Patterson-Gimlin film (thanks to Scott McClean with a little help from M.K.Davis!)...an audio visual display with the film and some analysis of it...and both of the casts that Roger and Bob made that day.
When you enter the museum, there is a local history wall...Felton has a rich history of redwoods, environmental awareness and even a Wild Man of the Woods story! Bigfoot artifacts such as Grover Krantz's giganto skull and jaw are there as well...
Another display features bigfoot in popular culture and an excellent display of the 1968 Argosy article by Ivan Sanderson about the Patterson-Gimlin film.
I'll post some more photos of the museum and some of the activities we've had there in the next blog...please find more information (and some old newsletters in the .pdf format for you to download...check out the June 2005 edition - issue #2 - my favorite!) at www.bigfootdiscoveryproject.com...there's a link to your right!
